Impacts of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic on the mental health of the elderly

This paper is intended to illustrate and correlate the mental, psychiatric, and psychological consequences for the elderly during the COVID-19 pandemic. The authors suggest expanding telehealth services for the elderly and family members, training materials for health professionals, advertisement and educational materials, and social security measures to address the issues facing the elderly population during the pandemic.
